Also known as Wesley Battle, it is mainly contained within the three streets that cross this neighborhood of less than 250 homes: W. Wesley Rd, Peachtree Battle, and Bohler Rd.
In keeping with other older, more settled areas of Buckhead, the homes range from beauties built in the 1930’s on up to homes that are newly built, with a wide range of styles of architecture that vary from street to street, home to home. It is worth it just to do a short driving tour of Wesley Battle just to experience and enjoy the varying homes and beautiful trees and landscapes.
History
The name "West Peachtree Battle" isn't a fanciful name - in July of 1864 there was a battle in this geographical location between Union and Confederate forces.
